Will a disposable address be accepted?
We are not going to promise you that it will. Every large service keeps a blocklist of disposable domains and updates it constantly, so an address that worked last week can be refused today, and a domain that is blocked for one person may pass for another. Anyone telling you otherwise is guessing.
The reliable way to find out takes about ten seconds: copy the address above, paste it into the signup form, and see whether the code arrives. If the form rejects it outright, generate a new address on a different domain and try again.
What Claude specifically does
Claude signs you in with a code sent to your email rather than a password, which means the mailbox is not a one-time signup hurdle — it is the login mechanism. Every new session on a new device needs it.
That makes a disposable address unusually costly here: lose it and you have not just lost recovery, you have lost the ability to sign in at all. Your conversation history, Projects and any usage tied to the account go with it.
Anthropic also screens disposable domains at signup, and most are refused. As with other AI services, the phone verification step in many regions is the real gate rather than the address.
