A disposable email address exists to be used once and discarded. The one above is ready now - no registration, no password, no confirmation step. Copy it, paste it wherever an address is demanded, read whatever arrives, and then delete it.
Keep spam away from the inbox that matters
Handing over your real address is a one-way decision. You cannot un-send it, and you rarely control where it travels afterwards - it gets shared with "partners", sold on, or exposed in a breach years later. A disposable address breaks that chain: whatever the site does with it afterwards, it reaches an inbox you no longer use.
When a throwaway address makes sense
- Signing up to read one article, one thread or one download.
- Trying software you are not sure you will keep.
- Claiming a discount code or a one-off coupon.
- Wi-Fi portals and public terminals that demand an address before letting you online.
- Testing your own signup and verification flows while you build something.
Disposable email vs temporary email
In everyday use the two words describe the same thing, and on this site they are the same product. The difference is emphasis. "Temporary" describes the lifetime - the address is not permanent. Delete it whenever you like
Deleting the mailbox stops it receiving and removes the messages from this browser immediately. Once an address has been used here it is never handed to anybody else, so a message meant for you can never land in a stranger's inbox later.
What you should still keep private
A disposable inbox protects your real address, not the contents of the messages. Anyone using this browser can read what arrives, and we cannot recover a mailbox once it is gone. Do not route password resets, financial notices or anything you need to keep through a disposable address.
