What Facebook sends to your inbox
Facebook sends a five-digit confirmation code, then security codes whenever the account is checkpointed. That is the mail you are waiting for on this page — paste the address above into the signup form and it will appear in the inbox on its own.
Will a disposable address be accepted?
We are not going to promise you that it will. Every large service keeps a blocklist of disposable domains and updates it constantly, so an address that worked last week can be refused today, and a domain that is blocked for one person may pass for another. Anyone telling you otherwise is guessing.
The reliable way to find out takes about ten seconds: copy the address above, paste it into the signup form, and see whether the code arrives. If the form rejects it outright, generate a new address on a different domain and try again.
What Facebook specifically does
Facebook screens disposable domains hard at signup, and when an address does slip through, the account usually meets a "checkpoint" within days — Meta’s automated lock that demands you confirm identity before you can do anything.
Clearing a checkpoint means receiving a code. On an account with no phone number and a dead email, there is no route through it; the appeal form itself asks for an address it can write to. Accounts stuck this way are not usually recoverable.
Facebook also still applies a real-name expectation. A throwaway address does not hide much on its own, because the account is judged on behaviour, device and network far more than on the address you typed.
What you lose if the mailbox goes away
High risk. Expect a checkpoint you cannot clear. This is one of the worst services on the list for a disposable address.
