What Figma sends to your inbox

Figma sends a verification link, then file-share and team-invite mail. That is the mail you are waiting for on this page — paste the address above into the signup form and it will appear in the inbox on its own.

Will a disposable address be accepted?

We are not going to promise you that it will. Every large service keeps a blocklist of disposable domains and updates it constantly, so an address that worked last week can be refused today, and a domain that is blocked for one person may pass for another. Anyone telling you otherwise is guessing.

The reliable way to find out takes about ten seconds: copy the address above, paste it into the signup form, and see whether the code arrives. If the form rejects it outright, generate a new address on a different domain and try again.

What Figma specifically does

Figma accepts most signup addresses without complaint, so getting in is easy. The problem is that Figma’s entire collaboration model runs on email: files are shared to an address, team invites go to an address, and comment mentions notify an address.

An account on a mailbox you cannot open can be invited to a project and never know. For a viewer-only look at someone else’s public file that does not matter; for anything collaborative it makes the account useless.

Figma also links seat licensing to the address, so an organisation moving you between teams cannot do it without mail reaching you.

What you lose if the mailbox goes away

High risk. Fine to open a public file once. Useless for actual collaboration, which is the whole product.

How to use the mailbox on this page

  1. Copy the address at the top of this page.
  2. Paste it into Figma’s signup form.
  3. Watch the inbox above — the message arrives on its own, no refresh needed.
  4. Open it, use the code or link, and delete the mailbox when you are done.

The address stays with you in this browser, so you can come back to it later. It is never reissued to anyone else once it has been used.
