What Netflix sends to your inbox
Netflix sends a sign-in code for new devices, plus billing and household-verification emails. That is the mail you are waiting for on this page — paste the address above into the signup form and it will appear in the inbox on its own.
Will a disposable address be accepted?
We are not going to promise you that it will. Every large service keeps a blocklist of disposable domains and updates it constantly, so an address that worked last week can be refused today, and a domain that is blocked for one person may pass for another. Anyone telling you otherwise is guessing.
The reliable way to find out takes about ten seconds: copy the address above, paste it into the signup form, and see whether the code arrives. If the form rejects it outright, generate a new address on a different domain and try again.
What Netflix specifically does
Netflix uses email as an active part of everyday use, not just signup. Watching from a new device or a different network triggers a code sent to your address, and the household-verification prompts that rolled out across most regions do the same. An address you cannot open again means an account you cannot watch on.
Billing notices, price-change notices and failed-payment warnings also go there. If your card fails and you never see the email, the account lapses without warning.
The old "temp mail for a free trial" trick mostly does not apply any more: Netflix ended standard free trials in most countries, so there is rarely a trial to claim.
What you lose if the mailbox goes away
High risk. Fine for a throwaway account you will never log into again. Bad for anything you pay for.
